Jennifer Sharp is a Director of Financial Planning for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Ms. Sharp has 24 years of experience working for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc, spending 15 years as a Buyer/Merchandise Manager before becoming a Director of Financial Planning. She established the Fresh and Snack and Beverage Financial Planning Team in the Food Division for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Her numerous responsibilities include supporting and collaborating with the Senior Vice President, to create, implement, and manage the P&L for Snacks and Beverages. Other responsibilities include ensuring that thru controlling markdowns, inventory & margin, evaluating features and promotions, understanding the assortment at a store level, giving the customer the best every day low price, and forecasting the business accurately, the financial plan is delivered. She also provides insight and guidance to Wal-Mart employees.

Driven by her positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges, Ms. Sharp aspires to become an Officer or a Vice President of Merchandising for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. She is a member of the Wal-Mart Women of Merchandising Leadership Team and the Network of Executive Women. She has a passion for giving back to her community. Outside of work, she has been on the Executive Committee for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Luncheon and is a Steering Committee Member for the Charity Challenge of Champions.
