Hundreds of Angry Birds addicts swarmed to the Facebook wall for UK online shop Mixwall to share their stories about how Angry Birds destroyed their lives this week.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, May 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hundreds of Angry Birds addicts swarmed to the Facebook wall for UK online shop Mixwall to make a consfession of their Angry Birds addictions this week.

According to statistics revealed by Rovio, the makers of the Angry Birds franchise, the cumulative amount of time spent playing the game around the world adds up to over a million hours per day.

To help ease the damage the game is doing to Angry Birds addicts¡¯ lives, UK online store Mixwall provided the space for players to pour out their stories from May 20 to May 30.

Rachael Hayes, Public Relations manager for UK online store Mixwall, said hundreds of Angry Birds addicts around the world shared their pain on the Mixwall Facebook wall.

¡°About 1000 people got involved in this activity on the first day,¡± said Mrs. Hayes. ¡°These people came from every corner of Europe.¡±

According to Mrs. Hayes, people were so addicted to Angry Birds Rio that they couldn¡¯t even live normal lives.

¡°From what people wrote on Facebook wall, most of Angry Birds addicts found it hard to separate the game from real life and it led to plenty of embarrassment for them,¡± said Rachael Hayes

¡°Some Angry Birds addicts even ended up staying in jail.¡±
