Maritza S. Mendizabal Honored for Contributions to Community and International Relations
Maritza S. Mendizabal arranges introductions and meetings with foreign officials and corporate leaders in Mexico and Peru

PORTER RANCH, CA, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Maritza S. Mendizabal, President of MSM Group, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in community and international relations.

A recognized authority on international relations, Maritza S. Mendizabal lends over three decades of industry experience to MSM Group, and international consulting firm. As the President of MSM Group, she arranges introductions and meetings with officials and corporate leaders in Mexico and Peru in an effort to assist with international relations and exchange information. Having served as the chairwoman of the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, Ms. Mendizabal was exposed to foreign relations and developed an interest in the field. She has since been a guest at the White House and has met with former Presidents Reagan, Carter and Bush.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her field, Ms. Mendizabal was named Business Woman of the Year in 1997 by the Latin Business Association and received the Aztec Award in 1988 from the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, for which she was chairman of the board. Her other professional affiliations include Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, the Hispanic Business Association, the Valley Industry Commerce Association and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. She served as chairman of the board of trustees for the Latin Business Association and a board member of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

Ms. Mendizabal holds a master's degree in international relations and a bachelor's degree in Spanish from California State University, Los Angeles, earned in 1986 and 1978 respectively. As she moves forward in her career, she hopes to improve relations between the United States and Central and South America.
