Cyber Monday Peaks from November 29 to December 6 2010
Cyber Monday falls right after Black Friday and is said to be the busiest day for online shopping. This year, experts are expecting that the shopping websites will see the most rush from 29th November to 6th December.

YouGov conducted a survey, which revealed that more than 45% shoppers in UK plan to do some online some from 29th November. 27% of them plan to spend more than 200 GBP on online shopping during Cyber Monday sales this year. In the age group of 25 to 44 years, 57% people said that they will be shopping online during cyber Monday. This number goes down to 35% among people over the age of 55 years.

The main reason behind this peak can be the fact that most people get their last pre-Christmans paycheck during this period. People in the survey said that they like to order Christmas gifts from the internet because it is much more convenient for them. to Matthew Cheng, who is the MD of eCoupons.co.uk said that Global Brands like Apple and Adobe are also embracing the concept of Cyber Monday this year.

According to David Smith, who is the MD of IMRG, in 2009, 350 m pounds worth of sales were made on Cyber Monday. This year, people are expected to spend 17.4 billion pounds only in UK on online shopping during Cyber Monday sales.
